Alvogen Pine Brook had an amazing day of great fun as they took on each other in the TOP CHEF Camp! They competed in teams which made Appetizer, Entrée, Desert on Creativity, Presentation & Taste!! It was a FUN FILLED AFTERNOON and Team 3 Won as TOP CHEF!!
Alvogen Romania set up an internal competition between departments. The teams had to use the most unusual materials to create an artwork to promote Romania. Various methods and art work were created in the teams and it was apparent that the Goddess of art was flying around and giving good inspirations to all!
In Norwich 280 employees from the manufacturing facility celebrated Alvogen Day by volunteering to clean and shine the streets of town. Employees performed "We Power" to 16 charitable organizations by taking part in community service activities that involved painting, carpentry, landscaping, washing windows and buildings, raking fallen leaves, picking-up litter and decorating community parks with fall décor.
The day kicked off in Norwich with welcoming remarks by Charlie Andrews, VP Operations. In addition to Andrews speaking, City of Norwich Mayor, Joe Mauriano presented a certificate of appreciation to the Alvogen and the President & CEO of Commerce Chenango, Steve Craig also spoke about the value that Alvogen brings to the community.

Employees wrapped the day up by going to the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich for food, entertainment, gifts, prizes and activities. The event was organized by Justin Moffitt, Don Greco, Dena Estelow, Jennifer Crim, Polly Guinn, Heidi Pazamickas – Hoover and Luke Murphy. A great time was enjoyed by everyone that participated!
