After the Nepal earthquake in April 2015 Alvogen in Iceland organized a charity concert in Reykjavik, in collaboration with UNICEF and the Red Cross, to help raise funds for the survivors of the Nepal earthquake. The concert was set in the prestigious Harpa Concert Hall where some of the countries most popular musicians performed, including Retro Stefson, Ylja, Amabadama, Bubbi Morthens and Dimma.

The initiative was a part of Alvogen's local community outreach programs that involves all employees in making a difference for children. Within Alvogen, local teams are encouraged to reach out to their local communities in the annual Alvogen Community Day and provide support either with direct financial donations or through other means.

Alvogen employees were directly involved in organizing the event and all cost was covered by the company. An amount of $40,000 was raised through the concert which all proceeced directly to UNICEF and Red Cross relief effort. In addition Alvogen donated a further $30,000 to the cause which brought the total donation to $70,000.
